In the June half term, The Real Link took 21 families to Cadbury's World. The Lindsworth School minibus drivers took us there and back. It was a hot day and everyone came back with very mucky, chocolate faces and feeling a little bit sick!
On the 15th April 2010, The Real Link ran a trip for families to Conkers. 106 people went altogether and had a go on: Adventure Playgrounds, Assault Courses, Den-building, Orienteering and learnt lots of facts about wildlife and the environment.
Here are some of your comments:

We went to the Fairy Woods and had a great day! First Sarah showed us how to build a den using sticks and some plastic to stop the rain coming in.
We had some soup that a woodsman had cooked on a real fire! Then we went on a treasure hunt. It was really scary we had to follow this map and it went on slippy slopes and round trees and over brambles. Some boys found the treasure, it was a box full of sweets! We all shared them and it was really yummy!!
I have been learning about dragons. chinese dragons are nice dragons and they make rain. By Paige age 6 S.t Jude's Primary

The children learnt that the Chinese built Pagodas to worship the dragons. The children built models of the pagodas.

The children learnt that the Chinese make lanterns and celebrate the Lantern Festival at the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Traditionally this was the only time of year that Chinese women could go and find a husband and they were always chaperoned! Now however this festival is a bit like Valentines day in Britain.
